What shifted
Internal API onboarding was manual and slow. I helped rebuild DAPI into a self-serve portal with automated auth, CI/CD quality gates, and compliance-friendly delivery. Teams moved from weeks to minutes while improving reliability.
DAPI was our internal API Service Catalog: a self-serve portal using Azure and on-prem that turned legacy HPSM/RESTman pain into minutes-to-market delivery. I re-engineered the flow, automated auth/decorations, and enforced quality gates (GitHub Actions/Concourse at 82%+, SonarQube, Cucumber seeds) so teams consumed REST/SOAP safely and fast—unlocking $2M+ in revenue while staying compliant.
I mentored newcomers through HPSM, RESTman, DB model orchestration, QA pipelines, and cross-team analytics—pushing data into Splunk/Dynatrace with Python + Concourse. This kept velocity high and risk low across environments of dev, certification, and staging.
